Questions about this trip

Should we sleep outside Rio for these excursions?

This version returns to the same hotel. Petrópolis is the longest drive; skip or replace that day with rest if the return journey would make the trip tiring.

Can we reach every Niterói stop by ferry and walking?

No. The city park is hilltop and the municipality specifies vehicle access. Arrange local transport for the museum, fort and park circuit even if you use a ferry for part of the journey.

Does the forest day include a difficult hike?

No. It uses a short guided forest-sector visit with a planned pickup, followed by indoor cultural stops. Trails, access and weather should be checked with the guide beforehand.
