Map Your Days uses Google Maps for place and route details and AI for itinerary suggestions. This page explains what is loaded, what may be saved, and which changing details you still need to verify before travel.
Maps, places, and routes
Google Maps supplies the map, current place matches, addresses, distances, and route estimates shown in each day. Live place matches, coordinates, and routes are loaded for the plan you are viewing rather than saved as part of the itinerary.
If you choose a home base, Map Your Days may keep the address you entered and its stable Google Place ID so that choice can be used again. Other Google Maps content is refreshed when it is needed.
Home Base Compare uses current place matches and route estimates for the candidate lodging areas and priority places you enter. Those comparison inputs and results are not saved, and Google Maps stays off until you consent to it.
Driving and walking times are estimates. They can change with traffic, closures, weather, construction, and the route you actually take. Driving directions never replace road signs, traffic signals, instructions from authorities, or your judgment. Always follow traffic laws and current road conditions.
Google and third-party attributions remain attached to the maps and place content they describe.
Current place details
Google Maps supplies the place information that appears when you open a stop, including available hours, phone numbers, websites, photos, ratings, and reviews. Google Maps and review-author credits remain with that content.
Those details are loaded when requested and may change at any time. Map Your Days may reuse only the stable Google Place ID; it does not save the rich listing content.
AI-planned itineraries
The itinerary is an AI-generated suggestion based on the trip details you provide. It is not a reservation, guarantee, or substitute for official destination, safety, health, or accessibility information.
You can draft a day-by-day outline in the no-signup editable itinerary planner. Worksheet edits stay in your browser unless you choose to move to the full planner.
Before relying on a suggestion, confirm opening hours, admission, reservations, age or accessibility requirements, local conditions, and whether the activity is right for your group.
