Check the assumptions
Keep distance, fuel and efficiency in matching units.
For miles, fuel needed is distance divided by MPG. For kilometres, it is distance multiplied by L/100 km and divided by 100. The calculator then multiplies fuel by the price and number of vehicles.
To calculate actual mileage, enter the distance covered and fuel consumed across the same interval. MPG divides miles by gallons; L/100 km divides liters by kilometers and multiplies by 100.
